The Rogator AG operates the Rogator-panel and is responsible for the adherence of the data protection.
Contact data, person-related data, and personifiable responses of surveys will be stored and processed under an order data processing of the Rogator AG.
The data collected won't be passed on to third parties, with the exception of transferring data in the context of order processing data. They are subject to the requirements of the German Federal Data Protection Act and to the rules of the professional Association of German Market and Social Researchers (BVM).
All data provided by the panel participants regarding data from registration forms and surveys will be collected and processed solely for market and opinion research purposes. A use for advertising or promotional purposes won't take place (also not by the Rogator AG).
The surveys carried out through the panel are regarded as a continued study by the Rogator AG. In accordance with the idea of the panel being an instrument for market and opinion research, insight will be gained beyond single surveys, and connections between single surveys will be created over longer periods of time. Statements made by a panel participant in the context of one single survey hence will be treated as a part of this continuous panel study by the provider, and can be stored and used for the entire duration of the continuous panel study.
The participant of the panel community agrees to the collection, processing, and the mentioned use of his information and data. At any time there is the right to withdrawal with future effect. In this case, all stored data will be deleted with immediate effect. The agreement may be revoked via email at info@rogator.de.
The participant of the panel community is obliged to treat all data allowing the access to surveys (personalized links in particular) in a way, so that they won't come to the knowledge of third parties. If there is cause to presume that unauthorized persons have obtained knowledge of the access data, the user shall notify the provider without delay.
The Rogator AG reserves the right to transfer the Rogator-panel to another operator. In case the operator of the Rogator-panel changes, the new provider is not considered as a third party, as specified in the provisions before.
With his registration, the user agrees to the transfer of the Rogator-panel to a new provider, and particularly agrees to
(a) the transmission of all data and information to the new provider by the Rogator AG
and
(b) the (basically unchanged) continuation of the Rogator-panel by the new provider.
The Rogator AG will notify the user before transmission of the Rogator-panel in due time. The user has the right to revoke his above mentioned agreement at any time by notifying the Rogator AG in writing.
General Terms
The data collected at online-surveys are used exclusively for market research purposes. The data are collected in the context of an order data processing and are then analysed by us. A use for market survey or commercial purposes won't take place (also not by the Rogator AG), they neither will be passed on to third parties. The participation in surveys is voluntary.
Handling of personal data
Depending on the survey, the collection of person-related data is necessary, which is always on a voluntary basis as well.
All personal data will be collected and stored apart from the data of the surveys. An allocation of the personal data to the information of the surveys is not possible. The surveys are evaluated and presented only in anonymised form. After the evaluations have been completed, the person-related data will be completely deleted. The data are only for purposes of market research won't be used for commercial purposes or passed on to third parties.
Data transmission / Security of stored data
The Rogator AG places great importance on the protection of the collected data within the online market research. The collection of data and the transmission takes place through a secured internet connection (SSL encoding), so that third parties won't be able to access these data (manipulation, theft). The data will be stored subsequently on a secured server, which is protected against manipulation and misuse.
Cookies
For some surveys, the use of Cookies on your computer is necessary. These Cookies solely serve the purpose to prevent users from participating multiple times. They don't collect any further data and also don't access the system of the user.
Data Access and Change / Contact
You have the right of access regarding your data, to change them, or to delete them. You can withdraw your consent to have your data stored and processed at any time.
